When you are in the event industry, being a talent is a lifestyle. Keeping our bodies in tip top shape at all times is vital to your success. Not only does your appearance matter, but your emotions matter even more. Staying stress free and happy in a fast paced industry can be difficult. Believe it or not, what you are eating and a lack of activity can be making you feel fatigued, tired and overall unmotivated. Make your health your top priority and create a healthy habits to further yourself with your success.

Make A Commitment

How many times have you said “I am going to start eating more healthier tomorrow.” Probably too many times to count. The first step to create healthy habits is to commit. If you truly want to start eating healthy and fueling your body with proper food you would start right now. TODAY! There is no reason to wait until tomorrow or next week. In the end you may get so caught up in life that you totally neglect that department. Commit to yourself. Your body is a machine and if you do not put the right maintenance on the machine, it breaks. If you are feeling stressed, tired, irritable, etc. it is most likely what you are putting into your body. Create a healthy habit to eat clean! suggest you to change your eating habits today! Start by drinking more water. Studies show that majority of the time that you feel hungry you are just thirsty. Your brain is made up of 80% water and when you deprive your body of water, all of your organs start to lack. If you are 120 lbs and above you should be drinking at least 8 cups of water a day. That is ½ a gallon.

  • In the morning, make it a habit to drink warm lemon water before you put anything into your body. That will boost your immune system and detox your body before you start your day.
  • Carry a water bottle with you at all times. If you start to get a headache or feeling achy drink water! Commit to this and you will feel the results. The cleaner you eat the better your body will feel, your skin will look more healthy, and you will finally have the energy to move your career in the right direction.


The importance of exercise cannot be stressed enough. Creating a healthy habit to exercise daily will do wonders to your brain, body, creativity, attention span, and it reduces depression.

  • Commit to at least 30 minutes a day to do some sort of cardio activity. That may include dancing, running or riding a bike. This in conjunction with a healthy diet will make you feel like a million bucks! Your body in the event and entertainment industry is the image you give off to people. You will look more alive and vibrant to others!
  • There are several ways that you can work activity into the hustle and bustle of your daily life. If you work in an office setting have a pair of light weights handy.
  • While you are at home keep notes around the house reminding yourself how important you are.
